Checkout & payments

How purchasing works on setyenv.com. The checkout flow handles product selection, payment via Stripe, and license delivery.

Purchase flow

1. Prebuy page — browse products, variants (x1 / x5 / x25), and pricing. Prices and currency are adjusted to the country you are visiting from; any launch discount in effect is applied automatically.
2. Checkout — enter your email and pick a payment method (Stripe card or Stripe Link).
3. Payment — Stripe processes the payment. All card data goes straight to Stripe; the portal never sees your card number.
4. License delivery — on successful payment: - A license key is generated. - The license appears in your customer dashboard. - A welcome email is sent with the license key and a getting-started link.
5. Auto-account — if you do not have an account, one is created automatically and a password-reset link is sent so you can set your password.

Pricing by country

The price you see on the prebuy and product pages depends on the country your visit comes from — markets with different purchasing power see the equivalent price in their own currency. You can override the detected location at checkout if it picked the wrong one for you.

Stripe integration

• Payment methods: card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Link (Stripe's fast checkout).
• Webhook handling: payment confirmation and subscription lifecycle events are received from Stripe and processed idempotently — duplicate events never create duplicate licenses.

Subscription management

• Annual subscriptions: Auto-renew by default. Cancel any time.
• Payment failures: Stripe retries failed payments. After final failure, the license expires.
• Cancellation: Cancel upcoming renewal. Current term continues until expiry.
