Setyenv™ End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding agreement between you ("Licensee", "you") and Setyenv, the operator of the Setyenv™ service ("Setyenv", "we", "us"), governing your use of the Setyenv™ software products. By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. Definitions
- Software — the Setyenv™ plugins and components you obtain from us, namely WP-PFWorkflow™ and WP-PFManagement™ (the "Proprietary Plugins"), and the companion components WP-PFAgent and WP-Executor (the "Open-Source Components"), together with any updates we provide.
- Licensed Domain — a WordPress site (one registered domain) on which you are authorized to activate a License Key.
- License Key — the credential issued to you on purchase that activates the Software on up to the number of Licensed Domains your subscription covers.
- Obfuscated Edition — the standard distribution of a Proprietary Plugin, in which the source code is protected/obfuscated.
- Source Edition — the optional annual add-on under which we additionally make the human-readable source code of a Proprietary Plugin available to you.
2. License grant (Proprietary Plugins)
Subject to your active subscription and this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install, activate and use the Proprietary Plugins on your Licensed Domains, for your own business or personal purposes, for as long as your subscription remains active.
3. Source Edition — what you may and may not do
If you purchase the Source Edition add-on for a Proprietary Plugin:
- You MAY read, audit, and modify the source code for your own use, and deploy your modified version on your own Licensed Domains.
- You MAY NOT redistribute the source code or any build derived from it — whether modified or not — to any third party, by any means (sale, sharing, publishing, bundling, hosting for others, etc.).
- You MAY NOT use the Software or its source, in whole or in part, to build, train, or operate a product or service that competes with Setyenv™.
- You MAY NOT remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notices, license keys, branding (™) or attribution in the Software.
Receiving the source is irreversible: see §6 (Refunds).
4. General restrictions (Proprietary Plugins)
You may not, except as expressly permitted above: sublicense, rent, lease, lend, sell or otherwise transfer the Proprietary Plugins or your License Key; share a License Key across more domains than your subscription covers; circumvent license activation or domain limits; or reverse-engineer the Obfuscated Edition (the Source Edition makes this unnecessary — buy it instead).
5. Open-Source Components (WP-PFAgent, WP-Executor)
The Open-Source Components are not governed by the proprietary terms above. They are licensed under their own open-source licenses and you may use, modify and redistribute them under those licenses:
- WP-PFAgent — GPL-2.0-or-later (a free WordPress plugin).
- WP-Executor — dual-licensed MIT OR Apache-2.0 (its own license files control).
WP-PFAgent is provided free of charge but requires a licensed WP-PFWorkflow™ or WP-PFManagement™ to function. Nothing in this Agreement restricts your rights under those open-source licenses.
6. Refunds
- Obfuscated Edition (standard) — try it risk-free: you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any customer in any country, no questions asked. There is no separate demo or trial; the 14-day refund is how you try the Software. See our Refund Policy for details.
- Source Edition (annual add-on): because the source code cannot be un-received once delivered, adding the Source Edition to your account waives your right to a refund. This waiver is account-wide and permanent: once any Source Edition has been added, no further refunds are available on that account, including for Obfuscated Edition purchases. We state this clearly before purchase and at checkout.
7. Ownership
The Proprietary Plugins, including the Source Edition source code, are licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the Proprietary Plugins and all intellectual property therein. You retain ownership of your own data and of modifications you create for your own use under §3, subject to the redistribution prohibition.
8. Your data
The Software runs inside your own WordPress installation. Your workflows, executions, credentials and telemetry remain in your database. We do not require them to leave your servers to operate the Software.
9. Updates and support
While your subscription is active, you are entitled to updates and to support. Support is provided primarily through the platform itself. We also accept support requests by email at [email protected] when they are sent from the email address registered to your Setyenv account. We may modify the Software to fix issues, improve security, or maintain compatibility.
10. Term and termination
This Agreement is effective until your subscription ends or until terminated. We may terminate it if you materially breach it (e.g., redistribution under §3/§4), in which case you must cease using the Proprietary Plugins and delete all copies, including any Source Edition code. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 survive termination.
11. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW (INCLUDING EU/EFTA CONSUMER PROTECTIONS).
12. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by applicable law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence.
